A Delegation of Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (AP NRT), represented by Mr. Sheshu Babu, Mr. Sri Krishna, Mr. Satya Prasad and other members visited SRM University, Andhra Pradesh, Showed interest towards having multiple MoUs with AP NRT in the field of IT Skill Development.

IGDC Inauguration Program was held at SRM University AP on 13th June 2018, in collaboration with Team KAAJANI University Finland, APSSDC Andhra Pradesh and EDD. Around 500 students were addressed by Prof. D. Narayana Rao – Pro Vice Chancellor of SRM AP.

Ms. Amina Baba Adam, an International Student from Ghana who is from the B.Tech – ECE Branch has been appointed as the Climate Coordinator for COP+24 International Climate Change Program 2018-19, to work as the Campus Ambassador for IARC Center for United Nations at SRM University AP. Her primary role as Climate Coordinator is to drive registrations for COP +24 Short Course.

MTH Junaidi, a freshman from the Computer Science and Engineering department at SRM University, Andhra Pradesh gave a lightning talk on biases in machine learning training datasets at PyCon Taiwan. PyCon Taiwan is an annual international conference organised by the Python Software Foundation at Academia Sinica in Taipei City, Taiwan.
