  • Nov 2022 - Apr 2023: Assistant Professor at the Institute of Technical Education and Research, Siksha 'O' Anusandhan University, Bhubaneswar, Orissa.

Research Interest

  • I am interested in understanding the interface of syntax and pragmatics through the lens of 'honorificity' (politeness) in Indian languages, specifically of the Eastern Indo-Aryan sub-family. I am also interested in other aspects of these languages, such as classifiers, reduplication, and differential subject marking.
  • I also work on the linguistic aspects of human-machine interaction, such as the naturalness of human-machine interaction for human users and AI hallucinations.
