“Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” – Women’s Health Drive at SRM AP

Women’s health and empowerment are key to advancing families, communities, and the nation, aligning with the Vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. In alignment with “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan” launched by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, SRM University-AP is hosting a Women’s Health Drive organised exclusively for the female students at the university. This initiative is aimed at promoting awareness, preventive care, and overall well-being among young women.

Venue: Theatre, SR Block
The program will include a one-hour presentation and talk by Dr Himabindu Sakamari, Head & Senior Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Blossoms Mother and Child Hospital, Vijayawada, followed by a 30-minute question-and-answer session.

About the Speaker
Dr Himabindu Sakamuri, experienced Obstetrics & Gynaecology with expertise in high-risk pregnancies, obstetric ultrasound, minimal access surgery and perineal repairs. She has previously worked as a Consultant at St. Theresa’s Hospital, Hyderabad and BirthRight by Rainbow Hospital, Hyderabad.
